*"LEADERPIEPOTAMIA* "  _*By Joshua N. Nicholas*_ Our country is been attacked with an epidermic. It is more deadlier than Hurricane Katrina, Irma, Andrew, Harvey and any category 5 Hurricane that has ever occurred. It is more dangerous than the Seismic wave and the Multiple Vortex Tornado. It is called "leaderpiepotamia" which is leadership incompetency. Our leaders should start becoming real leaders. A leader is a person of honesty and integrity. In other words true leaders work in honesty. They live their life understanding that people are watching them. What you are when you are alone is what you really are in the midst of people. Integrity would speak for your leadership, it would stand in the day of crisis. There Is no other time than now when we need competent leadership in our nation, schools, churches, businesses, etc. There is a major problem of leadership in our government system in Africa. Recently, it is now taking the World Bank, International Mo...

THE POWER OF AUDACITY By Dr. Paul Enenche 2Kings 4;8-27 It took Audacity for the Shunem woman to refuse the death verdict on her child of miracle. Audacity is the willingness to take bold risk. It is the possession of a daring, fighting, aggressive and a violent spirit. It is the refusal of existence in cowardice and timidity. MANIFESTATION OF AUDACITY * The refusal to be buried in negative identity * In the decision to maximally deploy her potential to make impact despite set back * The determination to fight her way from the background to the fore front of life * The refusal to focus on what was not working * The refusal to take 'no' for an answer under all circumstances; the determination to either find a way or create one. * The decision to be proactive instead of being reactive, the determination to live on the edge. * It was her choice for joy, in the midst of pressure. Be a joy distributor. THE POWER OF AUDACITY * Audacity is key to prosperity. Aggressio...

I REMEMBER

Image
I REMEMBER BY JOSHUA N. NICHOLAS I remember when a plate of pepper soup/ catfish goes for N200 at base 4 but now it is N400. I remember when i newly came to Awka (eastern Nigeria) before the 2015 general elections, a cup of rice was sold for N50, but now a cup of rice goes for N100. I remember then I use to be on MTN Family/friends tarrif plan and 17kobo goes for 1sec. But now the tide has changed as MTN beta talk now goes for 40kobo/sec. I remember when I newly started college, my weekly allowance was 2k, I use, spend, give, dash and use, still yet i always have left over at the end of the week. But now 7k cannot see me through mid-week, I use, spend and borrow. I remember my favourite mini-bread goes for N50 but now the same bread @Yale goes for N120 with reduced quality. I can decide to keep on remembering and remembering. Please where are we going to in this country. The meaning of moving forward does it also affect the standard of living and the prices of things. So where are they?  *Somto* : They are out there rocking and dancing.  *Blake* : And they left you here?  *Somto* : No, they came with their dudes and I came alone, so there is no one for me to dance with.  *Blake* : If that's the only problem, follow me let me teach you some Merengue steps or would you prefer Mambo?  *Somto* : I don't even know anyone. That was how Blake took her by the hand and they both went to dance. But after the dancing, they came back to their seats and Blake taught her how to sip "the hyness thing" without getting ...

The favour of God can be described as a tangible evidence that an individual has the approval of the Lord. It is the special affection of God towards you that releases an influence on you, so that others are inclined to like you, or to cooperate with you.  *The Salvation Ministries founder, David Ibiyeomie continued:* The favour of God is what determines the limits of every man’s destiny. Once you are favoured, you are made. Favour is the mother of destiny. Favour is what converts labour into fortune. It enhances the value of your labour. The limit of your destiny is defined by the level of favour operating in your life. When God’s favour is at work in your life, it makes you prosper wherever you are; even in a strange land. Favour made Daniel to prosper in Babylon, it distinguished Isaac in Philistine and made Joseph to prosper in Potiphar’s house. Even Pharaoh handed the whole Egypt to Joseph just by the favour of God. That is why I know that the favour of God will disti...

KEYS TO SUCCESSFUL LIVING

*KEYS TO SUCCESSFUL LIVING* Today, as we approach the end of the week, we will be looking at some keys to successful living. They are brief and concise just to make understanding more easier. They are outlined below: * *Be determined to succeed* – In life, if you don’t take chances, you won’t make advances. Make no room for alternatives. * *Be optimistic about life* – Develop the right mental attitude to overcome the challenges of life. Because it is certain they must come. * *Live Ready* – The challenges of life don’t really have a time table. For that, you don’t get ready;you live ready. When you prepare, you discover the way of escape before the challenges comes. * *Be ready to make sacrifices* – Delay today’s gratification to get tomorrow’s satisfaction. * *Be word ruled* – The word of God is the only platform to attain good success. There is a success that is good (Josh 1:8). How much of it (the word) do you know. * *Possess the knowledge of relevant skill...
